Exchange students - Erasmus+
With almost 600,000 inhabitants, Dortmund is the largest city in the Ruhr region. Although it offers all the advantages of city life, it is not a concrete jungle. Almost half of the city is covered by parks and green spaces. There is a lot to experience here and we are very happy that you have decided to spend a semester or year abroad at the Department of Physics!
Exchange students can select courses from our Bachelor and Master degree programs, many of which are offered in English. The Master degree courses in Physics as well as Medical Physics and Physics of Living Systems have been completely switched to English. You can find out more about this on our degree programs page.
Please note that you can only come to Dortmund to study with Erasmus+ if you are studying at one of our partner universities.
The International Office will be happy to help you with all organizational questions concerning your stay at TU Dortmund University. Here you will find information on the application process, student dorms and language courses, but also on the many highlights that TU Dortmund University and Dortmund can offer you. You will also find very useful checklists to help you organize your stay.
