Sponsors and Companies

Many activities at the Department of Physics are only possible through the commitment of volunteers and the support of friends and alumni of the Department. There are many opportunities to support the Department and its students and to become part of the network of supporters.

Theses with your company

The company where you work is interested in conducting joint research projects with (medical) physics students at TU Dortmund University? Would you like to act as a contact person to promote the exchange between research and industry? Then submit the proposal for your topic with general framework conditions and we will put you in touch with suitable students.

Contact with students

Your company offers interesting jobs for physics graduates and appreciates the skills of physicists?
Are you a graduate of the Department of Physics yourself and would like to strengthen your team with additional physicists? We offer you the opportunity to present your company at PhysiKon and to get in touch with motivated graduates on site.

Lecture in the professional field seminar

Would you like to give current students an insight into professional life and show them the opportunities for physicists in professional life? The career seminar offers you the opportunity to introduce yourself and your employer. Furthermore, you can give students an understanding of your professional field. Help us to ensure that the statement "physicists can work anywhere" is not just an empty phrase for the physics students at our faculty.

Financial support for students

Would you like to support the students of the Department of Physics financially? Support committed students in the form of a Deutschlandstipendium, either directly via TU Dortmund or via the alumni association PeP et al. e.V. Furthermore, a direct donation to PeP et al. makes it possible to offer workshops and the annual summer academy for current and former physics students.
