Person of Trust
The Department of Physics appoints two confidants who serve as contact persons in cases of conflict. They address all scientific employees and university lecturers in matters of research. In line with the implementation of the principles of effective career support in science formulated by the DFG, they serve as an independent arbitration body for the doctoral candidates of the Department of Physics, especially for concerns that do not fall within the scope of the ombudspersons of the TU Dortmund University. The latter are responsible for clarifying violations of the rules of good scientific practice.
