Organization of studies

The list of courses offered in a semester can be found on the (somewhat outdated) lsf portal. As this is only maintained in German, we offer you a pdf version in English here. For most courses of the Master of Physics there is no registration at the beginning of the semester (with the exception of the experimental exercises), but only at the end of the semester for the examinations (currently still in the BOSS system). The detailed organization of the courses is done via their respective moodle rooms. You can find the link of these by clicking on the course in lsf. If no link is visible there, this is because it has not yet been created by the responsible lecturer.

Information meeting

In the week before the start of the semester, we organize an information meeting in which you can also participate via Zoom. You will find all detailed information on this website in due course. 

Late arrival in Dortmund

For most courses of the Master's program in Physics there is no registration at the beginning of the semester (with the exception of the experimental exercises), but only at the end of the semester for the exams. Therefore, you can also start late in the semester, but it is of course clear that the later you start, the less likely you will pass the exam in a satisfactory way.
