The Equal Opportunities Office is looking for student assistants from the STEM field for the project "MinTU - Girls into TU Dortmund".
Dear STEM student!
What was it like back then when you decided to study? And why did you then choose the course you are studying now?
The project "MinTU - Girls at TU Dortmund University" informs schoolgirls between the ages of 12 and 14 about STEM subjects (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology) and about the life of a female student. And what could be more natural than getting all this information first-hand - from you!
Become a mentor and support girls in their STEM interests!
You have
- Fun and enjoyment in your STEM subject, studi-life, course of study....
- You want to meet nice female students and other female students of STEM subjects and
- You are in your Bachelor studies and at least in the 3rd semester?
Then you can participate in the MinTU project!
This is the program from January 2023 to December 2023:
- You will receive advanced training to become a mentor
- You will participate in the four girls' workshop days in 2023.
- You will meet regularly with your mentees and the other mentors (every 2 months).
For this you will receive
- a mentor certificate
- A SHK contract for 2 hours per week from January 2023 to December 2023.
