Physics Department Teaching Award for Doris Reiter
The Department of Physics at TU Dortmund University has awarded Associate Professor Dr. Doris Reiter the department’s Teaching Award. The award was presented during the Physics Colloquium on October 27, 2026.
During the event, Prof. Dr. Jan Kierfeld recognized Doris Reiter’s dedication and her achievements in teaching. With this teaching award, the department highlights the importance of quality university teaching and a commitment to student education.
Doris Reiter worked in the field of theoretical solid-state physics at TU Dortmund University, and her research focused, among other things, on theoretical photonics and quantum technology. She is now working at the University of Siegen.
