Female STEM Students Sought as Mentors
The Equal Opportunity Office is seeking female STEM students for the upcoming year to serve as mentors for high school girls as part of the “MinTU – Girls at the Technical University” mentoring project. The application deadline is October 31, 2026.
To become a mentor, female STEM students must be enrolled in a bachelor’s program and be in at least their third semester. In addition, German language proficiency at the C1 level is required.
In return for their commitment, the mentors receive…
- mentoring training
- an employment contract for two hours per week (€14 per hour) from January through December 2027
- a mentor certificate
The 2027 program includes…
- a kickoff event
- four workshop days
- Regular meetings (every two months) with the mentees, the other mentors, and the project coordinators
- a closing event
