New Staffing in Equality
- News

In the past few months, a lot has happened in the area of equal opportunities work at the department. Ms Siegmann did not stand for re-election after many years of work as Equal Opportunities Officer. We would like to thank her for her good work. Newly elected were Alina Landmann as Equal Opportunities Officer and Carolin Harkort as Deputy Equal Opportunities Officer. The SHK position in Equal Opportunities, which helps with the practical implementation of the department's equal opportunities projects, has been filled by Burcu Cilingir since 15.08.2022. We are looking forward to exciting new and also already old familiar projects.
You can reach the Equal Opportunities Officer in her function (for example, for appointment committees or on equal opportunities issues/advice) at the following e-mail address: gleichstellung.physik@tu-dortmund.de
Questions about the mentoring programme, Girls' Day, the physicists' cafés, the physicists' conference or student excursions should be sent to the following e-mail address: chancengleichheit.physik@tu-dortmund.de

![3D visualisation of human neuronal tissue reconstructed by multi-scale X-ray phase contrast tomography. Neuronal cell nuclei are shown in yellow for the granule neurons in the dentate gyrus region of the hippocampus. Blood vessels are shown in red. By changing the X-ray optical magnification in the multi-scale recordings, one can zoom into regions-of-interest (red ovals). In these scans the resolution is high enough to resolve sub-structures of the nucleus, associated with different DNA packing regimes.
