Dr Fabian Eickhoff receives the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Dissertation Award 2021.

Since 2019, the Department of Physics has awarded the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Dissertation Prize each year to an outstanding doctoral thesis. The selected doctoral theses have each been graded "with distinction" and make a significant scientific contribution to their respective field. The award comes with prize money of 4,000 euros, which is financed by the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation.

The Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Dissertation Prize for 2021 will be awarded to Dr Fabian Eickhoff. Dr Eickhoff wrote his dissertation in the field of theoretical solid state physics under the supervision of Prof. Dr Frithjof Anders. The topic of his thesis is "Strongly correlated quantum perturbation systems: The transition from a single perturbation to a periodic lattice".
